Dr. Robert Gancayco
Board-Certified Pediatrician
Learn About Dr. Gancayco
Dr. Robert Gancayco is a board-certified pediatrician with more than 30 years of experience caring for children and families. He is a graduate of New York Medical College and is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Throughout his career, Dr. Gancayco has been known for his warm, relationship-centered approach to care. He values building long-term connections with families and often has the privilege of caring for children from infancy through adolescence and beyond.
Dr. Gancayco has a special interest in helping children with ADHD and executive function challenges. He works closely with parents to help them understand that many struggles are not simply behavior problems, but reflect delays in important developmental skills such as organization, planning, and self-regulation. His approach focuses on practical, supportive strategies that help children succeed at home, in school, and in everyday life.
He believes that when parents feel supported and understand their child's needs, real and lasting progress can happen.
Outside of his practice, Dr. Gancayco enjoys spending time with his family.

We provide care for children from newborn through adolescence.
Do you treat patients older than 18?
Yes, we may continue to see established patients up to age 26 if they are living at home or attending college. Please contact our office to learn more about eligibility.

Dr. Gancayco focuses on providing assistance to children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), as well as behavioral issues and academic difficulties. Parents highly value the additional support that Dr. Gancayco offers.
How often should my child have a well-child visit?
The AAP recommends regular well-child visits throughout infancy, childhood, and adolescence to monitor growth, development, and overall health. We will help you stay on schedule based on your child’s age.
